This Is My Now!
Mood:  happyHi y'all! I have to say that I have NEVER been happier in my life! WOW! I really just went thru a surreal experience when the revelation hit me that THIS was my destiny. I've been on a rollar coaster and I'm afraid it's just beginning. I want to thank each and every one of you for your support. I will keep you up-to-the minute on my journey right here!

American Idol Shocker!
Mood:  crushed outIt seems every year there is some kind of American Idol shocker. This year it is that Melinda was sent home! I know she must be pissed! I was pretty shocked until I remembered that mainly young girls are the ones voting and they (of course) prefer Blake and Jordin. Personally, I like them both too, but I secretly thought it would be cool for Melinda to win since she was so much in the background most of her life... but she still has a career ahead of her- no doubt!

It's Like Your Camping Every Night!
Mood:  hungrySup! Had a busy weekend. Went w/ my pals Rog, Veronica, and Serina to Old Sac for Cinco De Mayo. We ate at Joe's Crab Shack and had ice coolers. It was good! But on the weekends I like to spend most of my time at home because it's so pretty here. With the trees and the creek and the frogs! I want to get a small tent to set up on the balcony so Woody and I can sleep in during the summer. Fun!

Happy Earth Day!
Mood:  spaceySo this morning I was out on the balcony and it was raining, the trees were so beautiful, the water was rushing and I felt I was out in a forest somewhere. But I looked over and someone had thrown an empty cigarette pack on the ground. Why do people have such disregard for the Earth? I encourage everyone to watch Discovery Channel's Planet Earth marathon today. It is truly inspirational!

When Will We Learn?
Mood:  incredulousIt's amazing how history continues to repeat itself- because people keep making the same mistakes! Apparently we didn't learn anything from Columbine (or at least Virginia Tech hasn't) since they spent 0 money on any kind of security cameras which may have alerted someone of the gunman making his way across campus on an out-of-control rampage! People are going to be asking some serious questions as to why exactly, the campus was not on complete lock-down when they knew a gunman was at large. I can't get over how devastating this kind of news is to me. I truly care about the welfare of good people and it's important for all of us to realize only our voices can create change.
