I Love My New Job!

Hi Everyone, Wow it's been a busy few weeks for me. Now that I've started working my new job and I've been working hella overtime. I am exhausted! But I really like my new job- the company is one of the Top 100 companies to work for, the benefits are unbelievable, and the people who work there are young, and cool. It's been a long time coming that I found a place where I can grow, move up, and possibly make a career out of. Since I'm doing Tele-sales, I will be the one setting up new accounts and selling phones and accessories. The commissions are outrageous! I can really use some fat checks! What a Difference a Year Makes!

It looks as if 2008 is turning out to be a great year for me. Just completed a week back at Verizon and I'm sooo happy to be back! This is one of the best companies around today and I'm excited to be working back with them. Everyone who works there is really young, hip and cool- and the building is really plush with leather chairs to lounge in, and the building is surrounded by beautiful fountains, streams and trees. The best part is that there are LOTS of high dollar $$$ commissions on EVERYTHING I sell including phones, plans, and accessories. SO- things are looking much better with me... how about you?

First Blog for 2008!

Happy New Year! WOW, for me it's turning into an interesting year to say the least. Went for an interview today at Verizon Wireless. I will find out if I got the position tomorrow. I feel I did well in the interview. Later my card wouldn't go thru at Burger King and I had enough money in there-- I was not a happy camper, so I started to leave and as I was walking across the way to KFC when one of the workers yelled at me from drive thru and said I could have it anyway! So I got a free chicken sandwhich, fries, and drink from BK. Wasn't that nice? Later, I ran out of gas on the street, in the middle of the rain with my cat Woody in the car and my great brother came with gas. After we put the gas in- it still wouldn't start so another kind neighbor whose house I had ran out of gas in front of, brought jumper cables to help me jump start it. What a first week of the year!

Merry Christmas!

HI y'all! Wow it's hard to believe Christmas is here again and another year has passed us by! Today I woke up with a terrible Christmas present. My little hamster Poppy died. He lived a long life for hamsters and he was a great pet. I had to get another though to fill the void left by my faithful friend. So I got another baby that's grey and white. He is so tiny and cute and running all over his cages and going on the exercise wheel a lot. Tomorrow I will be spending most of the day with family. This is the time of year when I wish I had a relationship, everyone should have a special someone, especially during the holidays. For me, my resolution this year is to get out more, meet people, and hopefully find my soul mate, or at least somewhat close to my ideal. Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a safe New Year!
